BOE Meeting Schedule

Meetings are held in the first floor Boardroom at the Shelton Public Schools Administrative Offices located at 382 Long Hill Avenue unless otherwise indicated.

The BOE Meeting schedule for the year is determined in December and is subject to change. Please find the complete list of 2024 Board of Education scheduled meetings here.

Regular Meetings

Regular Board of Education meetings occur at 7:00 PM every fourth Wednesday of the month*

Sub Committees

Finance meetings occur at 6:00 PM every third Wednesday of the month*

Buildings & Grounds meetings occur at 5:00 PM the third Wednesday every other month*

Teaching & Learning meetings occur at 4:30 PM every second Tuesday of the month*

Policy meetings occur at 5:30 PM the second Tuesday every other month*

*except in November and December due to holidays

Special/Ad Hoc Meetings

Budget Workshops are considered Special meetings and are scheduled in December for January and February. Other Special/Ad Hoc meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis with minimum 24 hours notice. Note: There is no public comment for special meetings.
