BOE Meeting Schedule

Meetings are held in the first floor Boardroom at the Shelton Public Schools Administrative Offices located at 382 Long Hill Avenue unless otherwise indicated.

The BOE Meeting schedule for the year is determined at the end of the previous year and is subject to change. For the most up-to-date schedule, please see the Google calendar on the Home Page.

BOE Schedule 2026

Regular Meetings

Regular Board of Education meetings occur at 7:00 PM every fourth Wednesday of the month*

Sub Committees

Finance meetings occur at 6:00 PM every fourth Wednesday of the month*

Buildings & Grounds meetings occur at 5:30 PM four times per year*

Teaching & Learning meetings occur at 4:30 PM the second Tuesday every other month*

Policy meetings occur at 4:30 PM the second Tuesday every other month*

*No meetings during summer; meetings may be off-schedule during November and December due to holidays

Special/Ad Hoc Meetings

Budget Workshops are considered Special meetings and are typically scheduled in January and February. Other Special/Ad Hoc meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Please check the district calendar on the home page for the most up to date schedules.

Note: There is no public comment for special meetings.
