Perry Hill School, which  opened on August 31, 2010, hosts grades five and six with a total population of approximately 850 students. Our teaching model is based on teams of two teachers working with about 50 students. This model promotes the creation of smaller learning communities that supports meeting the individual needs of each child through the use of best practices such as differentiated instruction, response to intervention and positive behavioral support. One teacher teaches Reading and Writing and one teacher teaches Math/Science/Social Studies.  Perry Hill's academic support center services the needs of all students.

In addition, students are actively involved in exploring enhanced curricula in Art, Music, Physical Education, and Health.  They are also exposed to units in STEM(Science, Technology, engineering, and Math).  Enrichment and club activities are also offered to round out a comprehensive approach to education of the upper elementary student.

All students  have lockers which will accommodate a standard sized backpack. Coats, backpacks, purses, and other personal items and books will be kept in these lockers. There is a scheduled locker time throughout the day. There is a 15 minute recess time each day.

School begins at 8:25 a.m. and ends at 2:55 p.m. The staff day does not begin until 8:10 a.m. so no one may be dropped off before that time. Everyone is encouraged to take the bus.
