ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 
Substitute Teachers:  Four year degree preferred, however, application for CSDE waiver will be considered.  Rate of pay $65 per day becomes $75 per day after 20 days served in a school year.  Fingerprinting and criminal records check required.  Applications submitted after Friday, May 17th will be considered for 2013-2014 academic year.
 
Substitute Nurses:  Rate of pay $120 per day.  Applicant must hold RN license, CPR: Child and Adult, First Aid and have pediatric experience.  We will arrange an orientation with our Head Nurse prior to first assignment.

Clerical, Paraprofessional, Custodial, Maintenance: These and other permanent support positions are hired through a testing process administered by the City of Shelton Human Resource Department. MERIT TEST ANNOUNCEMENT
 
The Shelton Board of Education has a vacancy for a School Security Guard. 
The School Security Guard is responsible for the security and protection of students, staff, and property.  If interested, please visit the City of Shelton website (www.cityofshelton.org) for a complete description of duties and requirements.  Application (City of Shelton application above) and resume should be submitted to City Hall (54 Hill Street) Human Resources Office/Room 107 no later than Friday, May 24, 2013 at the close of business.
